Melissa heads the Corporate Services as well as the Data Protection, Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Groups.

She regularly advises corporations on establishing a business presence in Singapore. Her practice in the area of corporate and commercial law includes the sale and purchase of shares and assets, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, distributorship agreements, service agreements and employment matters. She has advised and assisted various clients on compliance with Singapore’s personal data protection law.

Melissa is also engaged in banking litigation, finance and fintech work. She acts for banks and borrowers on asset financing and has advised financial institutions on the structuring of new products and regulatory work. Melissa is involved in both individual and corporate insolvency work. She is also engaged as Private Trustee in Bankruptcy in numerous cases.

Melissa sits on the Youth Business Affairs and Sustainability Committee of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She is also on the board of TRDO, a non-profit organisation formed to promote contemporary dance among the youths.
