MENTAL CAPACITY
Lasting Power of Attorney
One can lose mental capacity due to various reasons. In order to ensure that your affairs are managed with minimal disruptions or delay, our experienced team is able assist you to execute a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA). A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document which gives you the power to voluntarily appoint one or more person(s) to make decisions and act on your behalf should you lose mental capacity one day.
Appointment of Deputy
If any person did not execute a Lasting Power of Attorney prior to losing mental capacity, family members or loved ones are able to apply to Court for a Deputy to be appointed to manage their affairs. Our dedicated team is able to assist with the preparation and filing of an application in Court as well as attend court hearings.
